Uroderma bilobatum
The Osa Peninsula, Corcovado and Manuel Antonio are among the six atlas places where the Common Tent-making Bat is recorded. Its records concentrate in Guyana, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Costa Rica, with 483 records in the atlas across 16 countries.
Because it is recorded in both hemispheres, seasons differ by region and each place page shows the months recorded there.
These are open occurrence records, so they show where people looked for and recorded the Common Tent-making Bat as much as where it lives. Cells are up to 25 km across, and every location is generalised to its cell.
Generalised encounter areas, not exact locations. Each shape is a grid cell coloured by how likely the species is there.
Conservation status not assessed here yet, so every location is generalised to its grid cell.
