Neotragus moschatus
Nairobi National Park, iSimangaliso Wetland Park and Arusha National Park are among the five atlas places where the Suni is recorded. Its records concentrate in Kenya, the United States, Tanzania, Mozambique and South Africa. The atlas contains about 44,000 open records for this member of the Bovidae family, spanning six countries. These records represent the full mapped range of the species in the atlas.
These are open occurrence records, so they show where people looked for and recorded the Suni as much as where it lives. Cells are up to 25 km across, and every location is generalised to its cell.
Generalised encounter areas, not exact locations. Each shape is a grid cell coloured by how likely the species is there.
Conservation status not assessed here yet, so every location is generalised to its grid cell.
