Black Kite
Milvus migrans
Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara and Table Mountain are among the five atlas places where the Black Kite is recorded. Its records concentrate in India, Spain, Australia, Georgia and France. The atlas includes about 1.1 million records of the bird across 27 countries, and the map shows where these sightings concentrate.
Because this bird is recorded in both hemispheres, the active seasons differ by region. Each place page in the atlas shows the particular months recorded there.
