Whiskered Tern

iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Table Mountain National Park are among the nine atlas places where the Whiskered Tern is recorded. Its records concentrate in Taiwan, India, Australia, Spain and Thailand, and the map shows where these records gather. The atlas holds about 290,000 open records of this bird from 32 countries.

Because it is recorded in both hemispheres, the months of its presence differ by region. Each place page in the atlas shows the records for that area.
